Berlin interviews (part 3)
I love German beer. I love that I can sit in a small corner store run by a friendly Turkish man, have Internet access for €1 an hour and drink a €1.30 half litre of cold German beer (Schneider Weisse “Kristall” in this case). Thank you Germany, thank you.

Today was as planned and completely nuts. 3 interviews by 3 companies starting at 10am and finishing at 8pm. I’m looking forward to some rest and a chance to clear my head after all of this. A few photos to follow.

So I arrived in Berlin yesterday afternoon, a bit groggy from not having much sleep on the plane. Too bad it’s raining right now too. But I’ve been emailing and on the phone all morning organizing my day. Looks like it will be as follows:
10am-2pm Interviews at Nokia gate5, hopefully they buy me lunch
2pm-4pm A mission to find Sabine’s chocolate
4pm-6pm Interview with Jason...
The stress is mounting
1 day until 36-hours in Berlin 3 weeks until marriage 2 months until moving to Germany

Whistler Blackcomb Peak 2 Peak starts running →
Whistler Blackcomb’s record breaking Peak 2 Peak gondola started running today by sending 12 of the “sky cabins” across the 4.4km span. The longest unsupported part of the span is 3km long! It will be as high as two Statue of Liberties above the valley floor.
The lift opens to the public on Dec. 12 of this year. Gonna be one hell of a ride.

Sabine and I love playing this when we visit her family. We love it so much that when we got a Wii, we bought the classic SimCity on the Wii’s virtual console. Go get a Wii!

Just finished shoot 2 of 3 for the day. I’m really looking foward to the day when I truly have weekends free. Like, an entire weekend, uninterrupted, with nothing that “needs” to be done. Alas, I’m not sure that will happen until after the wedding or maybe even until after we move. Yikes!
